Captain Cran CD perished in the crash of #2 Flying Training School's CT-144 Tutor (#114157) aircraft. He had just joined the 'Red Knight' aerobatic team to serve as Commentator and Pilot of the spare aircraft. He died seventeen days after the tragic crash that claimed the life of 'Red Knight' Lieutenant Brian Gavin ALSTON.
